A special highlight of the Goiserer Gamsjagatage is the bike parade. The picture shows a group of people in traditional costume taking part in a procession on festively decorated bicycles. In front are women in dirndls, behind them men in lederhosen and hats. Spectators and photographers line the roadside.

More than 500 participants take part in the annual Radlpirsch in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt. The picture shows young women in dirndl dresses pushing bicycles decorated with flowers and branches. Each one has a race number and names such as \"Marry Jane\" or \"Anni\" can be read. In the background are spectators and other participants in traditional costume.

As part of the Goiserer Gamsjagatage 2026, the "Radlpirsch" will take place in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt.

You can register for the Radlpirsch 2026 in person at the Bad Goisern tourist office or online with the organizer (Bürgermusik Bad Goisern) from around the end of July.

The Goiserer Gamsjagatage

The Goiserer Gamsjagatage is a two-day event in the center of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt. A traditional event with lots of music, regional delicacies, crafts and good humor. During the Gamsjagatage not only the Radlpirsch is held, but also the Gamsbartolympiade every second year. Curious to find out more?
