"Dachstein-West" Snowshoe Hike - Guided Snowshoe Tour in Gosau
Starting in late December, join us for a breathtaking snowshoe hike through the Dachstein West ski area. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Dachstein Massif, the Gosaukamm, and all the way to the Großglockner!
Meeting point: Gosau Hornspitzlift valley station at 9:45 a.m.
Ascent via the Hornspitzbahn to 1,450 m – hike through the snow-covered winter landscape – stop at a rustic hut for delicious local treats – descent via the Panoramajetbahn
Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours—easy hike
Duration: 9:45 a.m. to approx. 3:00 p.m.
Cost per person, including gondola and equipment: Adults €75.00
Children (ages 8–14) €28.00

Recommended gear: Winter-ready hiking boots, backpack, thermos with a hot drink, snacks; warm clothing: thermal underwear, ski socks, fleece sweater, softshell jacket, warm jacket, warm outdoor pants (no cotton pants), hat, gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
If you have snowshoes or a lift ticket, this amount will be deducted from the price! All hikes can also be booked individually; price upon request.
