Music early in the morning
The Salinenmusikkapelle Hallstatt marches through the World Heritage town of Hallstatt and traditionally wakes up the residents early in the morning on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026 and on the national holiday, May 1, 2026.
On these days, the musicians of the Salinenmusikkapelle get up very early, slip into their festive uniforms and parade through Hallstatt with their instruments.
Music with tradition
The Salinenmusik is one of the oldest bands in the Salzkammergut, with a repertoire ranging from traditional marches to contemporary pop music.
