The Gosau Stahelschützenverein cordially invites all shooting enthusiasts to the championship and world heritage free shooting event and wishes all participants every success and a cosy get-together in Gosau.

The Stahelschützenverein Gosau is a living tradition

The Stahelschützenverein Gosau organizes the OÖ. Championship in 14m crossbow shooting. In doing so, it keeps an old regional tradition alive. This is an important event for Gosau and the Salzkammergut region. The special reputation of the Salzkammergut is not only due to the beautiful landscape, the lakes and the mountains, but also very much to the people who live here. Customs and traditions are a completely normal part of their annual routine. This is not something that can be taken for granted, and it needs courageous citizens and associations who are committed to it.

The championship begins on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 17:00 to 21:00. On Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 12:00 to 21:00 and on Friday, September 18, 2026 the championship will run from 9:00 to 15:00. The award ceremony will begin at 17:00 with musical accompaniment.
