CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY CRAFT CULTURE

The HAND.WERK.HAUS Salzkammergut is located right in the center of Bad Goisern within the walls of Neuwildenstein Castle . Under its roof, everything revolves around handicrafts from the Salzkammergut and beyond.

In the two-storey exhibition you can get a first-hand impression of the colorful diversity of living craftsmanship. The masterpieces and objects range from houses with a feel-good and living room character to loden shoes, staghorn glasses and leather trousers to box windows and coffee roasted on a wood fire.

There are also stories and interesting facts about our traditional businesses, some of which have been around for 200 years!

The permanent exhibition in the Hand.Werk.Haus on the 1st floor can be visited all year round. Admission is € 5.50 per person

Children and young people up to the age of 18 are free!

Group tours are possible by arrangement
