Even for some experienced water sports enthusiasts, "packrafting" is an unknown term. A packraft is a compact and light inflatable boat for one person and some luggage. It can be stowed in a backpack and thus easily transported to remote rivers and lakes. It is not comparable to a canoe in terms of stability, but it is ideal for short excursions or hiking tours where you also want to walk along waterways.
