Once again this year, a unique spectacle will be offered at the Salzkammergut Krampus Run on 7 December 2024 in the centre of Bad Goisern. There will once again be a unique atmosphere and an incredible soundscape along the Marktstraße and around the newly designed market square.

The Salzkammergut Krampus Run on December 7th has been attracting not only local visitors for years, but also an increasing number of international guests. Once again this year, there is a unique mystical atmosphere along the Goiserer Marktstraße.

The now legendary Salzkammergut Krampus Run once again offers an unforgettable experience for young and old this year, with a special blend of tradition, customs and modernity.

The program of the Krampus Run

Once again this year, a unique spectacle will be offered at the Salzkammergut Krampus Run on 7 December 2025 in the town center of Bad Goisern .
There will once again be a unique atmosphere and an incredible soundscape along the Marktstraße and around the newly designed market square.
Punch, mulled wine and other delicacies can be enjoyed at the numerous stalls from as early as 4 pm.
And the anticipation for the next few hours can only grow.
At 6 pm, the children's Krampus begin, who can be admired and cheered along the market street.
Many groups have already registered, because here in Bad Goisern there is a unique opportunity to present themselves to such a large crowd.
Followed by St. Nicholas , who then distributes small gifts to the good children at the municipal office.
The big Salzkammergut Krampus run starts at 7 p.m. on the dot, with lots of passers-by wanting to show off their special masks, horns and skins.
The groups with their Krampuses, angels and other sinister creatures are announced by a speaker with their special features.
The Bad Goisern Volunteer Fire Brigade is looking forward to a great, safe event with numerous spectators from near and far who "give themselves" to the Salzkammergut Krampus Run.
