World Heritage Viewing Platform in Hallstatt
Accessible viewing platform for everyone
The imposing structure weights no less than 12 tonnes and took 2 months to build. Of course the heavy pieces used to construct it had to be lifted up the side of the mountain by helicopter. Since August 2013 this spectacular attraction has been open to visitors.
Especially exciting for seniors and families, this platform also has a panorama lift, a panorama bridge as well as the Salzberg cable car which means it is easily accessible for everyone. Alternatively there is a hiking path up to the Rudolfsturm to enjoy the fantastic views!
