Every Wednesday during the summer holidays, the traditional "Weisenblasen" at Lake Hallstatt takes place at the beach resort in Obertraun. The traditional music is performed from a traditional wooden boat and can be heard from anywhere along the lake.

The event only takes place in dry weather.
