Salzkammergut Trophy the mountain bike race in the Alps!

With 5,000 participants from over 40 different nations, the Salzkammergut Trophy around Lake Hallstatt is one of the biggest MTB events in the Alps!
The longest of the seven available marathon distances - over 213 kilometers and 7,049 vertical meters - leads through the entire "UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt/Dachstein-Salzkammergut" and is one of the most beautiful and impressive marathon routes in all of Europe!

“To Hell and Back” on July 17, 2027

At Austria’s largest and toughest mountain bike event, seven marathon distances ranging from 22 to 209 kilometers will once again be offered. As early as 5 a.m., the first riders will set off from the Goiserer Marktplatz and face a long day on the infamous extreme course, with over 7,000 Höhenmeter of elevation gain!
In addition to the mountain bike marathon, there will once again be separate competitions for unicycles and gravel bikes. On Trophy Sunday, the Scott Junior Trophy and the Bosch (e)MTB scavenger hunt are on the program.

This is exactly the challenge that draws cyclists from all over Europe to the Salzkammergut. However, the dream of winning the coveted black finisher’s shirt often doesn’t come true until the second or third attempt.

Helicopter sightseeing flights, the legendary after-race party, and exciting, action-packed spectator areas right along the race course ensure plenty of variety and fun during this unique bike weekend in the Salzkammergut!
