Every Monday and Saturday an exciting guided tour through the World Heritage Site Hallstatt awaits you. With guest card or Salzkammergut Card you can take part in the tour for free.  We ask you to book in advance at the tourist office Halstatt under +43 5 95095-30.

When the days become shorter again, the days of almost boundless freedom are over for the cows, calves, horses and sheeps on the alpine pastures, and it's back home to the safety of the barn.

In Gosau at Dachstein, the return of the animals is celebrated with the "Almabtrieb" festivals and the sheep are assigned to their owners through the traditional sheep sorting in Bad Goisern.
