Hut is located at a height about 1.711 meters

After about 2.5 hours of hiking time from the Pötschenkehre in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt you will  reach the Sarsteinalm.
Attention: not to be confused with the Obertrauner Sarsteinhütte!

The cottage is managed during the summer months. 
The hut owner Mrs. Eggenreiter Linde is gladly available for information of the hut.
