The wonderfully idyllic village of Gosau am Dachstein is located in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut and impresses with great views of the peaks of the Gosaukamm and the famous Dachstein glacier.

Situated at 700 meters above sea level, the pretty village of Gosau guarantees family-friendly skiing fun and guaranteed snow until spring and, as the largest ski region in Upper Austria , offers a wide range of winter sports activities.

The Gosau part of the Dachstein West ski region includes the Hornspitz including Fredyland and the more challenging Zwieselalm and impresses with spectacular 360-degree views of the Dachstein glacier, Lake Gosau and the most beautiful peaks from the Feuerkogel to the Hochkönig.

Gosau not only impresses boarders and carvers, but also numerous winter hikers, snowshoe fans and deckchair enthusiasts. Not least because of the cozy huts with perfect sun terraces and local specialties and delicacies from the regional cuisine!

You'll find the best parking options right by the Panorama Jet valley station and can reach the gondolas without having to walk long distances!

Motorway exit Regau on Salzkammergut street B145 towards Gmunden and Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern, in Bad Goisern turn right onto B166, at the Gosaumühle junction turn right towards Gosau

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
