The station is served by the Salzkammergutbahn, which runs between Stainach Irdning and Attnang Puchheim (continue to Schärding).
It is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes, for example on the East bank trail at Lake Hallstatt or for the tour Koppenwinkl.
