The HAND.WERK.HAUS Salzkammergut team has been organising its annual Master Summer since 2020. Once again, a lovingly curated special exhibition is organised around a key theme.

"What hands can do - craftsmanship makes school"

The focus of this year's special exhibition is "Youth and craftsmanship" - what hands can do when they CAN.

The HAND.WERK.HAUS shows what happens when skilled craftspeople (craft businesses, teachers...) get involved to create something together with young people.
Because it's a good feeling to create something with your own hands.

In the exhibition rooms, a stylised classroom and a workroom are created, where work surfaces, machines and tools, exhibition objects, presentations and interactive manual experience space alternate.

The permanent exhibition on the members of the Hand.Werk.Haus Salzkammergut - all of them craftspeople in the fields of "From Gable to Cellar, From Hand to Mouth, From Head to Toe and The Necessity of Beauty" is also part of the exhibition programme.
