In theory, it is possible to cycle around Lake Hallstatt. The east bank biking trail leads from Bad Goisern to Obertraun, after that you have to cycle on the road. We do not recommend this section of the road, as there is a lot of traffic on the road between Obertraun, Hallstatt and Bad Goisern, little visibility and rather narrow. Instead, you can take the east bank biking trail back again or extend the route via Bad Aussee.

The temperature of the Lake Hallstatt varies between 1 degree in winter and up to 24 degrees in summer. To the daily water temperature.
